There were 12 rings and thousands of people. 
Different country flags hung everywhere. I was nervous but also excited for my first K1.
I didn't expect to win but I scored first which made me proud of myself. I had been training so hard and fought better than I ever had before. I did lose the fight, but the score was only 2 to 1. There were several times that I made contact, but the judges did not think I scored. I walked off the mat proud of myself but also knowing areas I needed to improve.
It was also fun to watch my teammates in that huge arena.
